Studies indicate that use of an alcohol gel hand sanitiser can decrease infection rates and provide an additional tool for an effective infection control program.
A well formulated alcohol gel containing moisterisers is well tolerated and may cause less skin irritation and dryness than plain soap-and-water handwashing.
An alternative to washing unsoiled hands in the absence of a water point.
Product can be used successively as long as the hands are not soiled.
